A New Roof, Done Right From the Deck Up

We replace the whole system, not just the shingles, so your new roof performs the way it should for decades. Most homes are finished in one to three days.

Roof Replacement by RemodelPro

A roof replacement is one of the largest investments you will make in your home, and most of what determines how long it lasts is hidden under the shingles. Solid decking, the right underlayment, properly lapped flashing and balanced ventilation are what separate a 15-year roof from a 30-year roof.

When we replace a roof, we strip it down to the deck, inspect every sheet, replace anything soft or damaged, and then build the new roof back up as a complete system. You choose the material and color; we handle everything else, from permits to the final nail sweep.

Our crews treat your property with respect. We protect landscaping and siding, keep the driveway clear, and clean up thoroughly at the end of every day, not just at the end of the job.

What is included in every replacement

Full tear-off

We remove all existing layers down to the roof deck so nothing is hidden beneath your new roof.

Decking inspection and repair

Every sheet of decking is checked, and damaged or rotted sections are replaced before anything new goes on.

Ice and water barrier

Self-adhering membrane goes along eaves, valleys and around penetrations where leaks are most likely.

Synthetic underlayment

A durable, tear-resistant underlayment covers the rest of the deck as a second line of defense.

Ventilation review

We check intake and exhaust and correct imbalances so your new shingles are not cooked from below.

Magnetic nail sweep

We sweep your lawn, driveway and beds with magnetic rollers before we call the job done.

Choosing your new roof

Most of our customers choose architectural asphalt shingles for their balance of looks, durability and value, but you have plenty of other options. Metal, synthetic slate and shake, cedar, natural slate and copper accents all have their place. We bring samples to your home so you can see colors in your own light and against your own siding.

A typical replacement timeline

Weather and roof complexity affect the schedule, but most residential projects follow the same rhythm.

  • Day before: materials delivered and landscaping protected
  • Day one: tear-off, deck repair and underlayment
  • Day one to two: flashing, shingles, ridge and vents installed
  • Final day: cleanup, magnetic sweep and walk-through with you

Signs it is time for a new roof

  • Your asphalt roof is 20 to 25 years old or more
  • Shingles are curling, cupping or cracking across large areas
  • Bald spots where granules have worn away
  • Multiple leaks or repairs in recent years
  • Sagging or soft spots in the roof deck
  • Widespread hail or wind damage
  • Neighbors with similar-age homes are replacing theirs

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes take one to three days. Larger, steeper or more complex roofs, or projects involving significant decking repair, can take longer. We will give you a realistic timeline before we start.
Do I need to be home during the work?
No, but we do ask that someone be reachable by phone. It will be noisy, so many homeowners choose to run errands or work elsewhere during tear-off. We recommend taking down wall hangings on upper floors since vibration can shift them.
What happens if it rains?
We watch the forecast closely and only open up as much roof as we can dry in the same day. If unexpected weather arrives, the deck is protected with underlayment and tarps until we can safely continue.
Will you pull the permit?
Yes. Where a permit is required, we obtain it and schedule any required inspections as part of the project.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
You receive the manufacturer's material warranty on the products, plus our workmanship warranty covering the installation itself. We go over the details in writing before you sign anything.
Can I finance a new roof?
Yes, financing is available for qualified homeowners. We can review options with you during your free estimate so you can choose what fits your budget.
