Commercial Roofing That Keeps Your Doors Open

Flat, low-slope and steep-slope roofing for institutions, associations and businesses, planned around your schedule and your budget.

Commercial Roofing by RemodelPro

A commercial roof protects more than a building. It protects inventory, equipment, tenants, students and congregations, and a leak can interrupt operations in ways a homeowner rarely faces. Commercial clients need a contractor who communicates clearly, works safely around occupied buildings and plans projects to keep disruptions to a minimum.

RemodelPro Contracting has served commercial and institutional clients alongside our residential work since 1995. We handle flat and low-slope membrane systems, as well as the steep-slope shingle, metal and slate roofs common on churches, townhome communities and mixed-use buildings.

Whether you need a single repair, a phased replacement across several buildings or an ongoing maintenance plan, we start with a thorough inspection and a clear, written scope so decision-makers and boards have what they need.

Flat and low-slope systems we install

TPO

A white, heat-welded single-ply membrane that reflects sunlight, helping reduce cooling loads on large roofs.

EPDM

A durable synthetic rubber membrane with a long track record, flexible in cold weather and simple to repair.

Modified bitumen

Multi-ply, asphalt-based roll roofing with excellent toughness for roofs with foot traffic or equipment.

Roof coatings

Restoration coatings can extend the life of a sound existing roof and improve reflectivity.

Metal roofing

Standing seam and panel systems for low-slope and steep-slope commercial buildings.

Drainage improvements

Tapered insulation, crickets, scuppers and drains to eliminate ponding water.

Preventive maintenance saves budgets

Most commercial roof failures start small: a split seam, a clogged drain or a damaged flashing after rooftop equipment service. Scheduled inspections, typically in spring and fall and after major storms, catch these issues early when repairs are simple. We provide written reports with photos so facility managers can track the roof's condition and plan capital budgets with confidence.

Signs your commercial roof needs attention

  • Water ponding for more than a couple of days after rain
  • Blisters, bubbles or wrinkles in the membrane
  • Open seams or loose edges at the perimeter
  • Cracked or separated flashing at walls and curbs
  • Interior ceiling tile stains or active drips
  • Clogged drains, scuppers or gutters
  • Rising energy costs on the top floor

Frequently Asked Questions

Which flat roof system is best?
It depends on the building. TPO is popular for its reflective surface and heat-welded seams, EPDM is durable and easy to repair, and modified bitumen is tough under foot traffic. We recommend a system based on your roof's use, drainage, existing conditions and budget.
Can you work while our building is occupied?
Yes. Most of our commercial work happens on occupied buildings. We plan staging, access, noise and safety around your operations and communicate the schedule in advance.
Do you offer roof coatings instead of replacement?
When the existing roof is structurally sound and mostly dry, a restoration coating can be a cost-effective way to extend its life. We test for trapped moisture first, because coating over a wet roof just hides the problem.
Can a replacement be phased over multiple budgets?
Yes. For large roofs or multi-building properties, we often phase work by section or building, prioritizing the areas in worst condition first.
Do you provide documentation for boards and owners?
We provide written proposals, photo reports and scopes of work that are easy to share with boards, owners and committees, and we are happy to attend meetings to answer questions.
